I need help with these guitars please?
Okay so I am pawning two guitars I have. I know that's kind of dumb but I really need the money. So I will describe the guitars and I need you to tell me how much they are worth that way they don't rip me off too bad.
Guitar 1- it is a red brown color. It is acoustic and electric both. It has six strings and it is brand new. I never really used it much so it's not that used. The manufacture is india scout or something. ThTs what is says on the neck. There is also a sticker on the inside that says nelson music. The model is SCA-N. It also has an automatic tuner on the guitar
Guitar 2- it is a very old antique. It is light tan. The tuners are white mRble I think. the strings are in perfect condition like the other one. Instead of the bridge at the bottom of the strings it has a metal clamp because that's what they used in the old days. I think themaker is Egmond brothers

Sorry to hear that you are pawning these. The bummer is that a pawn shop is going to give you pennies on the dollar of the value. Pawn shops are in business to make money and when they take in items, they have to consider if they can get top dollar in selling the item - their concern is not offering lots of money to the person pawning. It is how they do business. Also, guitars come through pawn shops very frequently - they've seen it all.
The first guitar is an "Indiana Scout" - its a lower/mid level brand that might retail for under $125 brand new. I would be surprised if they offered you more than $25 on this one.
As far as the Egmond - I would take it to a guitar shop and do some research - if its in great shape, it might be worth a ton of money. Hard to put a value on it - but its going to be worth way more than you'll get at pawn.
