Star Trek T- Shirts Perfect For Your Halloween Costume
Star Trek t shirts which were worn by the crew during the first Star Trek series were of red, gold or blue color. The red t shirts were the uniform worn by the star ship command officers, Gold t- shirts were worn by crew in the engineering, operations and security personnel divisions. Blue t-shirts were the outfit worn by science and medicine crew members. These naturally can be wonderful Halloween costumes.
In the movie titled "The Cage" Mr. Spock wears a blue t -shirt and Captain Kirk has a distinguishing green- yellow shirt. Then when we move on to "Where No Man Has Gone Before", Mr.Spock shows up in a beige colored t -shirt and Captain Kirk is also dressed in beige.
The Star Trek medical insignia, was worn only by those who were non-commissioned crew in the medical area. Dr McCoy being a commissioned officer has a science Insignia. It is important that these insignia should be right in your Halloween costume.
In production episodes of the series, the colors were once more changed. Officers who were in Command and helm appeared in gold color t-shirts, whereas red t-shirts were worn by engineering and security officers, and staff in the science and medicine area were outfitted in blue t shirts. Any of these outfits would be a great selection as your Halloween outfit.
Many changes of uniform such as these, may well be somewhat confusing to the casual viewer. After becoming accustomed to seeing Captain Kirk or Mr.Spock wearing gold and blue uniforms respectively, there is a sudden complete change in color of uniforms, and they appear in different colors. However the most significant detail is the command insignia which is worn on the left chest of the shirt. This always shows the rank of the officer, and this has not changed in the various series of Star Trek.

How ever, my all time favorite interaction is in The Wrath of Khan the movie. Besides the fabulously sad death and funeral scene, there is that little bit when Kirk and company are trapped on a planet far below the surface and unbeknown to everyone, Kirk and Spock have communicated with each other via code concerning the repair of the ship and an estimated time of rescue. Wonderful!
