Differences between jay and silent bob over the years...?
Have you noticed how in clerks 1 and 2 jay never says like snoogans or snootchie bootchies? i mean when did jay started saying those catch phrases? and why doesnt he says them in clerks 2?
Jay and Silent Bob were mainly background characters in 'Clerks.' They didn't get many lines.
Most of Jay's strange catchphrases came about during 'Mallrats.' It was mostly a studio idea, they wanted a movie they could pander to younger audiences. But the catchphrases stuck.
Because 'Clerks 2' was meant to be a continuation of Kevin Smith's original comedy style, I'm assuming he left out Jay's catchphrases to recapture what made the original so great.
