Russia Love
Why date a Russian woman thousands of miles away, why not date at home ? There are, and should never be barriers to love !
Put simply - why not ? The world is a small place nowadays with more and more men realising that women from a different culture have a little "something" more to offer , a new perspective , a new outlook etc.. combined with a worldwide reputation for having some of the worlds most beautiful women, Russia is the place to search for your new partner, just look at the enigmatic photographs of Russia and you'll be drawn to the country, the culture and especially the women.
Add to that the reputation that Russian women have earned for themselves over time, immaculately groomed, mindful of emotion, family orientated, highly intelligent, cultured, determined, put high value on the family support structure that is somehow diminishing in the West, most able to cook recipes handed down from generation to generation. Why travel half way across the world in search of a partner ?
Most men that are genuinely serious about finding their soul mate, not just a girlfriend or a companion , but a real life partner in all respects will not accept any barrier to finding her, least of all distance. The geographic location of your search is an important financial consideration, of course it is, but think of the rewards.

Why don't Russian women search for their dream partner in Russia ?
Well, to begin with there are 16% more women than men - the result of two world wars, a declining birthrate and chaos after the collapse of the USSR in 1991, therefore women in Russia have less choice than countries with a more balanced population split. "All the good men are married" is a quote often heard in dating circles.
Consequently and unfortunately Russian men do not feel the need to try to impress a woman, to be romantic ( though to be on the street people watching on a warm summers evening it's hard to believe, as this is when you'll see young, and not so young men meeting their first dates with the customary single red rose held downwards to protect the petals until it is ceremoniously handed over ), or to groom themselves as has become an essential tool in the West in the last decade or so. Unemployment can be high in some regions and Russia, with no benefit system to speak of, is not the place to be unemployed, resulting in more "unsuitable" men in the dating game - unpleasant at it may appear it is a fact. Women interested in foreign men are not all gold diggers or scammers, even the genuine girls have the right to be concerned about income, future and security and this is the same for women of all countries.
Add to this the problems of day to day life in Russia, the bureaucracy would make your head spin, car ownership is low compared with Western countries and the availability of most Western style products is poor even if you can afford to pay. Everyday life is hard for many in Russia, more reason to step into the unknown. Overall, Russian women that venture abroad need to be determined, intelligent, focussed, brave and stubborn, all good traits in moderation.
Understandably when faced with these problems and computer ownership is on the rise with ever quicker access to the internet , Russian women have decided not to settle for being one of many but to be "the one" to someone very special......increasingly that man is to be found abroad, usually in the West.
Expectations
You are now about to embark on the journey of a lifetime.Now is the time to fully understand and apply the word "expectations" to your search.
Men must, to a certain extent accept the blame for the failure of correspondence or of a relationship although of course it "takes two to tango" and women have to meet you half way as well.
For the most part the interpretation of "expectations" needs to be examined before you submit your profile.
As a man what do you really expect if you :
- post 10 year old photos showing your good side.
- post 1 or 2 photos taken virtually in the dark, on a rainy day in winter.
- post photos taken with another woman, or worse still, naked or semi naked pictures of yourself. : Very few men look good with no clothes on !
- send pictures of the mansion set in 1,000 acres of prime undeveloped real estate that you don't own.
- send more photos of cars, boats and other possessions than you do of yourself.
- avoid all references to financial stability.
- focus more on what you're not than what you are.
- treat your correspondent as a commodity to be bought and sold with a few trinkets etc....
- don't give enough information on your profile - how is a woman supposed to decide ?
- are not honest.
- drag out correspondence, get names mixed up, refuse to meet in Russia, not reply or call when you say you will with no cancellation.
So, before you rush off and join Russian dating websites, take time out and take advice from those that have travelled the road, it'll save you time, effort, energy, money and most of all...heartbreak !
