One of the great problems that people encounter after poster printing is the distribution. Especially if you are new to poster printing, you may not really know how and where to deploy your printed posters. Well, to answer all your questions about proper poster deployment we have provided this little guide for you. Let us start with the most obvious question, where?
Where are the best places to distribute my posters?
This may be a simple question to answer, but actually there is a trick to choosing the best places for your printed posters. The most obvious places of course are the places where a lot of people gather. This means distributing your color posters in public places like lobbies, train stations, bus terminals, high traffic roads and walkways, food places and entertainment places. However, beyond those locations you must be picky. If you have a target audience in mind, such as professionals for example, then you may want to place your posters on the restaurants and bars that they hang out in. If you are targeting college kids, then you may want to place your posters at their usual food places, dorm lobbies, school hallways and libraries. So basically the best way is to distribute your posters in high traffic places where a lot of your target audiences reside in.
What is the best timing of distributing posters?
The best way to distribute your posters is all at once. To get the maximum effect in a community, village or city, you must time all your posters to appear suddenly at the same time. Of course you may get by in posting a few of them on a location everyday, but to get the maximum effect, it will be perfect if you post them all at once in a wide area. This way everyone will notice the difference in just one day and really realize that your new posters are up.
How big should my posters be for effective distribution?
The common rule for poster impact is bigger is better. But in fact, for distribution the rule is actually medium sized and cheap is better. This is because you can print a lot more medium sized posters than large posters. Large poster printing might get the best impact, but smaller posters can get the most coverage. If your concern is the most efficient distribution of your posters in a fixed location, it is better to print a lot of smaller posters to cover every location possible. Since everyone will see your posters everywhere, size really will not matter.
How frequently should I post posters?
