Is it true that if the Coca Cola logo is shown in a major movie they send the producers money ?
I have heard of product placement before but someone told me that the CocaCola Corporation had an unwritten promise to send the producers of blackbuster movies a million dollars if the famous logo ot bottle/can was shown for only a second or two . Is that true ?
It may or may not be true but certainly product placement can have great rewards for movie companys, directors etc.
Marlboro used to tell the story of how they "donated" cases of cigarrettes to a certain movie company because the logo/package/sign was used over 10 times in a Superman movie.
