I think a lot about choices and their consequences. It has made me more aware of being wise, thinking things through before I act and not just doing the easy thing. (Thank heavens Edward didn't give into temptation on Bella's first day of school.)

Even though is sci-fi book, I've learned that sometimes we only judge people for their looks without really knowing them. Like Edward wasn't interested in Bella because he thought she was going to be like the rest of the students who only think about partying or shopping, and the same for Bella....she was really curious to know about the cullens, but she was not judging them.... I really love the part after Edward saves her from the skanky boys and she tells him that it does not matter what he is... and that she's not scared. He really appreciates the fact that she really wants to know him, not only think he's cute. Then LOVE is defined with actions..like the fact that he would just drink her blood, but restraint himself for love and also how on the third book, he's willing to let her go with Jacob if that's what's better for her.... also the fact that she's willing to give her human life to be with him...
