Days Out on a Budget - 10 Thrill Seeking Activities

This summer, budgets are tighter and holidays have been scaled back, however that doesn't mean you can still have a whale of a time if you choose your activity right! Below I have picked out 10 amazing days out that should fit into most budgets and allow you have a cracking time this holiday season!

The other goal for this was to build a list of affordable Gifts. Birthdays are often hard to find a great present for, especially that present for Dad, Granddad or Uncle! Hopefully, below you can find a great present at the perfect price and make their day!

1. Laser Station - £7.50 for 2 games

The cheapest option around, 2 games of Laser Quest for only £7.50 is so much fun! When it comes to Bang for Buck, it really is hard to beat (Possibly only Go Karting matches it). These are usually based in Leisure parks too so you can combine with the Cinema.

2. Horse Racing - £9 for 8 races

Lots of people go to the Greyhounds, but Horse Racing seems to have fallen out of favour for some reason? The Grand National, Glorious Goodwood and the Cheltenham Gold Cup Still attract plenty of visitors but the day to day Races don't get the crowds they deserve!

At Goodwood you can go to any one of their 23 events across the year for as little as £9! That's 8 races across the day with some of the best known Horses and Jockeys around - Madness!

3. Cinema - £7 Ticket £5 Food

The Cinema is more popular than ever and right now we are bettering Blockbuster season! Why not grab some popcorn, nachos, Chocolate and a drink and sit back to watch the hottest new release at the cinema! It's a cracking night out!

4. Paint Ball Day - £40 including over 600 Paint balls

Adrenaline, Excitement, Pain, Paintball isn't for everyone but it is so much fun! You have to experience the thrill for yourself to understand how realistic it can be. Amazing games from capture the flag to hostage taking and every man for himself!

5. The Motorshow at Goodwood - £20 for a Day pass

The Official Motorshow has been cancel for 2010 due to the recession. However, Goodwood have invented the Moving Motorshow! Held on the Day before Festival of Speed you will be able to see over 50 of the best known manufactures latest concepts and releases just like you would at the NEC Motorshow, except this time you also get to see the cars in action driving up the famous Goodwood Hill Climb.

6. Theme Park - £31 for a day on the rides

It's hard to find a bigger thrill than at the Theme park, and Alton Towers is one of the Best Britain has to offer. By booking online you also get early access so you beat the queues for the best rides first.

7. Premiership Football Match - £35 Ticket

The New Season kicks off in August and what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than watching the best football in the world? You can get Tickets for most games from £35, but obviously this varies as some clubs try to really hike the prices. There are almost no bad games in the premiership so hop down to your local team and enjoy the fun!

8. Team Sport Go Karting - £15 for 20+ Laps

Go Karting has to be the most fun you can legally have in an afternoon. With 8 tracks across the UK with a crazy 3 tier track in Crawley Team Sport Karting surly offers the best Karting experience out there.

For £15 you can get over 20 laps of Karting madness in 220cc karts, or for the more adventurous they do a Grand Prix event for closer to £40 where you get 4 heats of 5 laps, a 5 lap semi final and a 6 lap final! Are you the next Lewis Hamilton?

9. International Cricket Match - £50 for the Day

A fantastic day out with the family or your friends, Cricket offers something for everyone. With England playing so well at the moment after last year's Ashes Victory and the recent Twenty20 world cup win, spirits are riding high!

Cricket isn't always considered the most exciting days out, but Cricket is really what you make it. Fancy Dress day, coupled with a drink or 2 can be one of the greatest days out you have ever experienced, and if England win, all the better! Come and see England Vs Australia, Pakistan or Bangladesh this summer.

10. Ferrari Track Day - £125 for laps round Goodwood

Okay, So £125 is hardly is hardly budget saving, but when put in perspective, the chance to drive a Ferrari 355 as fast as you like around the Historic Goodwood Motor circuit, the very track that holds The Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival is really unbeatable!

You Get 3 Laps of driving flat out yourself and then let the instructor take over and be passenger to how the pros do it in the driver of your life as the 355 shows its true potential.

How come there is so much tension between different races in this day and time?

And sexual oreintation. Aint it funny how there is so much prejudice, but if you find a friend of a different race everything is black and white? Me and Kia, we love to talk about our prejudices and yuck yuck about 'em. Like I ask her why black folks kill each other and turn our citys into murder capitals. And she sas why are white people so cold and emotionless. Then we go on and yucx yuck 'cause we are friends.

I am willing to bet that if you lived in another Western country, you would not see the venom there that we see in this country.

The United States is a very young nation compared to many other Western nations and we have a lot to learn. It will take several generations before it becomes a semi-non issue (notice that I said semi!).
