Mark Family Hopes And Dreams with Gold Charms
After going to various doctors, clinics, homeopathic practitioners and even to fertility experts my wife and I had simply given up on our dream of having a baby of our own. We both really wanted a family but it seemed is just wasn't going to be in our future.
One day at work I received a message that my wife was on the phone. This wasn't usual as she rarely called me at work, so I knew it had to be something important. She sounded really stressed and simply said that I need to get home immediately and she hung up the phone.
Of course I was thinking all kinds of tragic thoughts and rushed home to find her standing at the door. She was crying but also smiling and ran down the stairs to meet me when I got out of my car. The good news she had is that she was pregnant and already two months along. I called in and took the rest of the day off to celebrate.
I wanted something special to give my wife on the day of our child's arrival. I really wasn't sure what to buy but I remembered that my mom and aunts all had charm bracelets started by their husbands and decided this was the perfect option for me as well.
Finding gold charms that were related to a baby and starting a family was really a lot of fun. Of course I also had to select from the many types of gold charm bracelets and was able to pick one I knew my wife would love.
Generally I selected gold charms that looked like little infants, some were snuggled up in wraps, some were sitting up and one was even wearing a little sleeper. To add to the collection of infant themed charms for bracelets I also included a baby in a highchair and that one was my favorite.
What would a collection of gold charms of babies be without some baby items? I found a set of building blocks like all kids love, a diaper charm and a gold pacifier, the perfect additions to the bracelet.
I kept my gold charms and bracelet a real secret from my wife but brought it with me when we made the mad dash to the hospital. After she was recovering from having our son I presented her with a beautifully wrapped gift box. She adores the gold charms celebrating our son's birth, now I guess I have to another one started as we are expecting our second!
